Plot summary
Ira Black is a psychology doctoral candidate whose therapist parents raised him and who has dated Lea on and off for nine years. His therapist ends their twelve years of sessions and urges Ira to act on impulse. At a gym across from his cafe, Abby Willoughby gives him a tour; she sells memberships and knows everyone there. They talk for six hours in an empty yoga room, and she tells him she lives with her musician parents. Abby then proposes marriage. Ira agrees. Ira's parents are upset that the bride is not Lea; Abby's parents begin planning the wedding.
