Plot summary
Fighter jets over Grozny, Russia, chase an unidentified craft traveling faster than sound, and the craft turns on them. Residents soon report a meteor crossing the sky and landing in the hills. Jack Bavaro, who heads Alpha Force, calls in Lieutenant Sean Lambert, the one member of the unit's earlier mission in Mexico to come back alive. Lambert flies to Grozny with a new interceptor team: science officer Dawn DeSilvia and the soldiers Bjorn Hatch, Nathan McCallister and Adriana Sikes. Outside a Russian nuclear plant they find the wreckage of the alien craft. Gaps cut in the plant's fencing and concrete walls show that something has gotten inside.
