Plot summary
Since his wife Martha died, Dracula has stayed single, and his attempts to meet someone have gone nowhere. Mavis mistakes his low spirits for the strain of providing everyone else's vacation at the Hotel Transylvania and books the whole family on a monster cruise ship, the Legacy, with Drac's Pack along: Frank and Eunice, Wayne and Wanda and their pups, Griffin, Murray, Blobby, and Vlad. Dennis and Winnie smuggle the giant dog Tinkles aboard in the luggage. The ship's captain, Ericka, greets the passengers in several languages, and Dracula zings the moment he sees her, though he had always believed a zing could come only once. When she walks up to talk to him, he can only speak gibberish, and he tells his friends that he zinged.
