Plot summary
Jack makes his living playing poker. When he accepts a wager proposed by the gambler Duffy, he is pulled into the underworld, and he has to keep himself and his family out of harm. That means outwitting Duffy's brother Lewis and May, who each want Jack to kill the other. Jack turns to Paulie Trunks for help; the loan shark has Jack's poker debts to collect on and an investment to protect.
