Plot summary
Finley Sinclair plays the violin and hopes to study at a New York conservatory, but her audition goes badly. She takes a place in the Irish exchange program her late brother Alex once joined, and flies to a coastal village. The Callaghan family, who hosted Alex, run a bed and breakfast there, and they take her in. Also staying at the house is Beckett Rush, the young star of a fantasy film series, in Ireland to shoot the next installment. Beckett asks Finley to run lines with him; in return he will help her see the country and track down the churchyard in a sketch from Alex's notebook. Her course also requires twenty hours of service with Cathleen Sweeney, a cantankerous local woman.
