Judith Hoag

Biography

Born in Newburyport, Massachusetts, Judith Hoag is an American actress who began working professionally in 1986 as a regular on the ABC daytime soap Loving, playing Charlotte Bates Alden. After departing that series in 1988, she moved to primetime television and landed the female lead on the CBS comedy Wolf, which was canceled after one season. In 1990 she appeared in Cadillac Man (1990) and took the part of April O'Neil in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990), a box office hit that became one of the year's top-grossing films. Hoag later starred as Gwen Cromwell Piper across four Disney Channel movies: Halloweentown (1998), Halloweentown II: Kalabar's Revenge (2001), Halloweentown High (2004), and Return to Halloweentown (2006). Her recurring roles included Cindy Price on Big Love, Tandy Hampton on Nashville, and Stephanie Quinn on The Magicians; she also appeared in Forever My Girl (2018).
