Everything or Nothing (2012) on Netflix

Plot summary

The James Bond films are the longest running franchise in cinema, and the documentary follows them from their beginning in 1962. The character comes from Ian Fleming, an author who seeks an escape from a boring intelligence job, and his literary success leads to the film series, created by the producer team of Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman. Bond becomes a media sensation in the 1960s. Over the decades the leading actor changes, the producers face legal conflict with the writer Kevin McClory, and disagreements grow between the two of them. The changing times prove the hardest challenge the franchise has to face.
