Plot summary
A mysterious virus has turned humans into bloodthirsty undead and cut down much of the world's population. Governments could not hold the disease back, so the Contagion Special Unit was formed from the toughest soldiers and the best specialists to fight the infected. With soldiers growing scarce, the unit turned to a popular online game, Dead Trigger, which mirrors the real outbreak; the CSU tracks the top players and brings the best zombie killers among them into its ranks. These young recruits are known as Dead Triggers. Captain Kyle Walker leads a group of them, along with elite soldiers, on a mission to the origin of the outbreak, where a missing team of scientists was searching for a cure.
