Plot summary
A raid that Chief led as a U.S. Marshal went wrong, and he has been traumatized since. He believes that he was exposed to chemicals and that they are disturbing his mind. The other survivors of his old unit show the same symptoms at the same time, and a larger conspiracy may exist. His old team member Jonesie begins visiting him, and Chief worries that Jonesie's anger and instability could put those near him in danger.
