Columbus Short

Biography

Columbus Short is an American actor and choreographer who made his film debut as a dancer in You Got Served (2004) and later appeared in Accepted (2006). Born in Kansas City, Missouri, he moved to Los Angeles as a child and began working in youth theater. His choreography credits include Britney Spears's Onyx Hotel Tour, and he also worked with Brian Friedman. His early leading roles came in Save the Last Dance 2 (2006) and Stomp the Yard (2007), and he appeared on television in That's So Raven, ER, Judging Amy, and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. Later credits include This Christmas (2007), Quarantine (2008), Cadillac Records (2008), and The Losers (2010), and he starred as Harrison Wright on Scandal for the first three seasons. For Cadillac Records he was part of a Black Reel Award win for Best Ensemble and won an Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor, while Stomp the Yard earned several nominations.
