Biography
Earthquake, born in Washington, D.C., is an American comic, actor and voice performer who also hosts radio. He began performing in an Air Force talent show called Tops and Blues, then worked small clubs in the early 1990s. By 1993 he co-owned Atlanta's Uptown Comedy Corner and later opened his own comedy clubs. His national break came in 1997 on the Russell Simmons Def Comedy Jam Tour. He performed an HBO half-hour special for One Night Stand in 2005. His screen work includes a small role in Clerks II, a supporting part in The Longshots (2008), and the voice of Root the Rooster in Barnyard (2006) and its spinoff series. On television he had a recurring role on The Neighborhood and played Chris's Uncle Mike on Everybody Hates Chris. He hosts Quakeshouse, a radio show carried by SiriusXM and Kevin Hart's Laugh Out Loud Network, and his first Netflix special, produced by Dave Chappelle, came out in 2022.
