Plot summary
While climbing Norway's Troll Wall, a storm catches Sasha and Tommy. A boulder strikes Tommy, his unconscious weight pulls Sasha toward the edge, and she lets his rope go. Five months later she drives alone through Wandarra National Park in Australia, carrying Tommy's lucky compass and meaning to scatter his ashes. A ranger warns her that people have been vanishing in the region. At a service station hunters harass her; Ben, a local who makes his own jerky, steps in and points her toward a quiet campsite.
