Plot summary
Harris carries out missions for the CIA in which foreign nationals are detained and relocated for interrogation, and he questions detainees at an Agency black site. His superior is murdered. He is blamed for the death of a detainee and becomes the target of a rendition operation. A team of operatives is sent to bring him in, and as the team follows its orders, its members begin to question those orders and one another. Olsen, a senior intelligence officer, and Visser, who answers to him, raise the stakes. Harris and the allies he finds look for the truth about what happened.
