Plot summary
Kelley Chandler is a new recruit at the CIA, and his wife Tess is a former operative at the agency. A mission leaves him badly injured and alive only on life support. Tess is determined to find out what happened to him during that mission, while the CIA director wants the truth about it kept concealed. Kelley's comatose mind remains active, and the agency favors a procedure to draw intelligence from his brain that would be lethal. Tess refuses to allow the procedure and puts everything on the line to keep him out of harm's way, even at dangerous cost to herself.
