Plot summary
Graham Chapman, a founding member of Monty Python, gets an animated version of his life that is not to be trusted. It draws on the memoir he wrote with a co-author, and it is made from a reading he recorded of that book shortly before his death. The narrator who says that almost nothing in it happened is Chapman himself. Other members of Monty Python take part, and the figures who appear include his father, his mother and his psychiatrist. Fourteen animation companies worked on the film, each handling a section of three to twelve minutes. It is a comedy, and it treats his own account of his life as fiction.
