Plot summary
Amy Mitchell wants a quiet Christmas with her children, Jane and Dylan, and Jessie Harkness's daughter, Lori. Then her mother, Ruth, texts to announce she is coming to stay, and the simple holiday is off. Kiki Moore juggles four children, with help from her husband, Kent, until her mother, Sandy, turns up three days early for a three-week stay. Carla Dunkler's mother, Isis, appears at her door after years away. Carla is glad to see her, and thinks Isis may want money.
