Plot summary
The VM2 virus is found in a French woman in June 2012, and inside a month it has infected 83 percent of Europe. It reaches Japan and the United States, and after six months the plague has killed nine tenths of the people in America. Ramona, Billy and Kevin leave their cabin outside Los Angeles to look through a small town for food and any sign of other survivors. While they search an auto repair garage, the noise brings a horde of zombies down on them. Henry, Julian, Cassie and Mack arrive and fight the zombies off, and the two groups travel on together toward a survivor camp on Catalina Island, unsure whether the camp is real.
