Plot summary
In the Hundred Acre Wood, Pooh does his stoutness exercise one morning to work up an appetite. He opens the cupboard and there is nothing in his last pot. A bee flies past, so he goes after the honey in a tall tree and gets nowhere. He visits Christopher Robin, his best friend, a boy of seven, and borrows a balloon. Pooh rolls in a mud puddle to pass for a little black rain cloud and floats up to the hive on the balloon. The bees are not fooled and chase him and Christopher Robin away. Pooh then goes to Rabbit's house, where he hopes to be given honey.
