Plot summary
Casey is a teenage girl who lives with her single father and passes her time online in her attic bedroom. For the World's Fair Challenge, a game passed around the internet, she records a video: she says three times that she wants to go to the World's Fair, pricks her finger, smears the blood on her laptop screen, and views a strobe light video. She posts the clip and promises updates if she notices changes in herself. Other challengers post their own symptoms. Casey describes feeling as she did when she sleepwalked years earlier. A video addressed to her then arrives from a user called JLB, saying she is in trouble and that he needs to speak with her. They talk over Skype, where he keeps his camera off and asks her to keep recording.
