Plot summary
In a rain-soaked New York, bodies are found in the streets. Some of the dead are mutilated, and others have the Price equation carved into their flesh. Detective Eddie Argo is given a new partner, Helen Westcott, and the two of them take the case. They work to learn what the equation means and who left it on the bodies.
