Alibe Parsons
Biography
Alibe Parsons is an actress who has worked in film, television and theater on both sides of the Atlantic. She trained in theater arts and singing in Los Angeles, where she became a pianist at 13, and started out on stage and screen as a dancer, including a spell with the Lester Horton Dancers. After leaving America she acted in films and on stage in Italy and Spain, then settled in London around 1972. Her best known television part was Sarah Gant in the 1970s BBC drama Gangsters, and she also appeared regularly in the science fiction series Space: 1999. Other credits include Coronation Street, Bergerac and Waking the Dead, while her film work includes Aliens (1986). On stage she spent four years touring with the Royal Shakespeare Company, and she appeared in The Beaker Girls as Flo.
