Plot summary
Brier's modeling career has taken off in New York. On a subway train she meets Luke, a struggling musician, and falls for him at once. She moves to Los Angeles to launch an acting career, and with support from her agent Carrie she joins an acting class, where she becomes friends with another would-be actress, Clea. Out on the town, the two run into Luke again at a club called The Mint. Convinced he is good, they set out to build him the kind of Los Angeles buzz that will get a record company to notice him. The higher his profile climbs, the more the new career demands of him.
