Trail of Robin Hood (1950) on Netflix

Plot summary

J. Corwin Aldridge is out to corner the Christmas tree market, and he has bought out every grower in the region except one holdout. That holdout is a retired movie star who raises his own trees and charges a price that lets any family buy one. Aldridge's commercial tree company wants him driven out of business, and loggers slip onto his land to poach the trees. A conservation agent keeps the loggers off the property, and the crop is being sabotaged as well. The agent takes on the job of getting the trees to the buyers.
