Tiger & Bunny: The Rising (2014) on Netflix

Plot summary

Kotetsu T. Kaburagi, known as Wild Tiger, and Barnaby Brooks Jr. work as heroes in Hero TV's Second League. Apollon Media gets a new owner, Mark Schneider, who sees the Second League losing profits and calls the pair in for a promotion. At the ceremony he announces that Barnaby will return to the First League alongside a new partner, Golden Ryan, while Kotetsu is let go. Kotetsu does not fight the decision, not wanting to hold Barnaby back. On their first mission Ryan and Barnaby stop a tower from toppling, but Ryan's gravity powers keep the other heroes from helping. Schneider has his secretary Virgil tell the Second Leaguers that the Board of Directors has cancelled their airtime. Strange incidents around the city echo the Legend of the Goddess.
