Plot summary
In Paris, three bachelors, Jacques, Pierre, and Michel, share a spacious apartment. At a party in their home, Jacques, a steward by profession, agrees to carry a package a friend says he will drop off the following day, then flies off to the Far East for several weeks without much time to explain things to his roommates. What arrives at the door is a baby, apparently Jacques' daughter, sent by her mother, Sylvia, whose work keeps her from looking after the child. Pierre and Michel take her for the promised package and are overwhelmed by the duties of parenthood, feeding, diapers, and sleepless nights.
