The Wheeler Dealers (1963) on Netflix

Plot summary

Molly Thatcher works as a stockbroker at a New York firm run by Bullard Bear, who needs to dismiss one analyst. As the only woman on the staff, she is his obvious choice, so he hands her the seemingly impossible job of unloading the shares of Universal Widgets, a company that appears to do nothing at all. Henry Tyroon, a Texas oil man whose wells have run dry, arrives in the city to raise $1.2 million and takes an interest in Molly rather than in her stock. He agrees to help her with the file so he can spend time with her, and they set out to find out what the obscure corporation actually is.
