Plot summary
Tess Delaney learns from the estate executor, Damhnaic McAuley, that her father, whom she never knew, has left her half of an apple orchard, and that she has a half-sister she did not know about. Tess visits the orchard and meets the family she has just found. There she learns the orchard carries deep debt. Tess is an antiques expert, and she and her half-sister begin to work at the mystery of their grandmother's treasure, which they hope can save the orchard.
