Plot summary
Four campers go out with cameras in 1997, the year of the Phoenix Lights, and none of them come back; their bodies are never recovered. What they filmed is what is left. Two years after Dustin Miller is shot dead at a traffic stop in Texas, his father finds the tapes. Peter Miller believes his son worked as a whistleblower and smuggled the tapes out of his classified government agency to show the truth about what happened to the four campers on the recordings. A check of Phoenix newspapers and media from that period finds only one notice that four campers had gone missing, and a police report folder with no files inside.
