Plot summary
The handsome surgeon Algernon Hertz has given Chlamydia Love an island as a wedding gift, and she believes she can reach him whenever she likes by dropping into a flushing toilet bowl. At the office her colleagues laugh at that belief and at her talk of a prince on a white horse, but she pays them no attention. When she travels to the island, Algernon keeps her waiting. The people she meets there are rougher than the tourist brochures suggest, and she soon has to run. Her flight takes her into the lair of Helmut Mandragorass, a misanthropic scientist with a huge forehead who has no fondness for other people.
