Plot summary
Earth has been devastated by a worldwide swarm of sharknadoes. Fin Shepard and his grown son Gil travel back to the Cretaceous period hoping to undo the destruction, but Gil vanishes on arrival. A hologram he recorded explains that the energy behind time travel allows each person a single trip back, and any further one erases them. Fin joins Nova and Bryan and the still-human April, his wife, whom Gil saved from death and sent ahead to await him. The group destroys a sharknado with the help of a pterodactylus April has tamed, then uses a capacitor from Gil's flight badge to attempt the journey home.
