Plot summary
Tucker reunites with Larry, his former agency mentor. Larry has severe cognitive decline and memory issues, and he blurts out classified material from his old overseas postings. One slip concerns the 1981 embassy crisis and $25 million that Larry helped hide in the wall of a Tehran hotel more than forty years ago. Tucker sees a chance at a huge payday and reassembles his old squad, disgraced, war-torn ex-CIA operatives disillusioned by how the war in Afghanistan ended, for a rogue, highly illegal heist into Iran.
