Trailer

Plot summary

Businessmen who covet Apache land send hunters onto Indian territory to kill bison and provoke a fight. Winnetou, the Mescalero chief, takes the hunters' weapons but lets them go. The Jicarilla leader White Buffalo is persuaded by drink and guns to press for land the government has already ceded. Winnetou and Old Shatterhand carry word of this to Santa Fe, where the governor offers White Buffalo more land if he keeps the peace. An informer in the governor's office passes the news to the businessmen. At a quarry, a henchman sets off a blast as the two friends ride past below, and the bandit Rollins is told to block Winnetou's way to Clinton.
