Trailer

Plot summary

A shipment of army gold and the escort guarding it have vanished in the Ozarks, and Major Kingsley, accused of taking the gold, is missing too. A military court has yet to rule on the charge. His daughter Mabel arrives in a frontier town carrying a letter she will not read aloud, and she is given sixty days to follow its instructions and bring the gold back. Old Shatterhand, a frontiersman, agrees to guide her across Osage land. The cavalry provides a small escort, and two more travelers join: Sam Hawkins, once Shatterhand's mentor, and Lord Castlepool, a botanist. Winnetou, an Apache chief, meets the group and lends his help. Murdock's gang is on their trail, and a Sioux chief is no friend to Winnetou.
