Plot summary
The Boxer, an Irish fighter known as the Wolf of Dublin, has come out of retirement for one more run at a championship title. Before he can fight again, he has to make the weight, and it is a demanding coach who pushes him toward a drastic regimen. The two of them hole up in a room in Las Vegas, where the boxer follows an intensive and illegal weight-cutting program to strip the pounds.
