Plot summary
Agatha Earnshaw and her daughter Audrey Earnshaw live in a devout village. A plague has ruined the village's crops and its livestock. The other villagers who are suffering with the plague as well come to suspect the two women of witchcraft. The community is torn apart by the young woman at the center of that suspicion and by black magic and possession.
