Anna Cummer
Biography
Anna Cummer is a Canadian actress who has worked extensively in voice acting, film, television, and theater. Born in Singapore, she spent part of her adolescence in Southeast Asia and part in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She studied drama in England and earned a Master of Performing Arts, then returned to Canada in 2001. She is best known for voicing Strawberry Shortcake in Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Bitty Adventures, and she has voiced anime characters such as Mea in Popotan, Nozomi Daichi in The Daichis, and Miyu Kuroi in Mega Man NT Warrior. Her film credits include the title role in Barbie Presents: Thumbelina (2009), Dawn in The Barbie Diaries (2006), and Caprice in Barbie: Princess Charm School (2011). On stage, she has performed with Canadian theater companies, received Jessie nominations and awards, and won a Best Supporting Actress award for Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet).
