Plot summary
Jimmy Dolan is an assistant basketball coach at St. Joseph University, and he believes a marquee recruit is the way to a head coaching job. A home video shows him Saleh, a towering young player, and Dolan flies to Kenya to sign him. There he meets a village led by Saleh's father, who does not want his son to leave, and a mining company that covets the tribe's land. Saleh's duties to his people stand between him and the court. Dolan has to learn the life of the place before he can ask anything of it, and he carries a move he wants to pass on.
