Plot summary
On the planet Pluton, a creature disposal unit goes haywire and beams toxic electrical energy into space. The beam strikes the satellite dish in Stan Putterman's yard. Raquel and Suzy, Stan's wife and teenage daughter, blame him for the family's broken televisions, and Norton, the dish representative, tells him his service contract covers repairs only, not installation. Stan takes a hammer to the dish himself. Lightning strikes the receiver, and the sets work again. The screen then shifts from static to Medusa's Midnight Horrorthon, which Grampa and Sherman watch, while Stan and Raquel go out to meet other couples and Suzy leaves with her boyfriend O.D. A creature steps out of the television.

The two films came out in the United States a month apart.
- Alongside Richard Band's original score, Los Angeles art rock band The Fibonaccis contributed several songs to TerrorVision, including its theme. The film was hoped to bring the group more attention, but the movie and the soundtrack both failed.
