Plot summary
Wilbur Finletter runs Finletter's Pizzeria, where no pizza carries tomatoes, outlawed since the Great Tomato War. His nephew Chad works there and shares an apartment with Matt Stevens. Professor Mortimer Gangreen, the scientist behind the earlier tomato uprising, works with his assistant Igor, dipping ordinary tomatoes into toxic waste and putting them into a transformation chamber wired to a jukebox, so the song that plays decides what each tomato becomes. Rock music yields soldiers. Tara, who serves Gangreen, is one of these creations.
