Plot summary
A New Year's Eve flight from New York to Los Angeles runs into severe turbulence, and the plane goes down in a remote area. Two sisters, Jessie and Trish, are on board. The survivors find that the ground they have come down on belongs to a secret government testing zone. Unknown predators hunt them there. The group searches for shelter and tries to stay ahead of the threat through the night, and arguments break out among people who have no way of knowing whether anyone is coming to help. A handheld camera keeps running, recording the crash and everything the survivors see and hear in the zone.
