Plot summary
Oscar is hot-headed, and his wife Ester is attracted to her friend Adele, who is newly divorced. On a walk through a garden of statues of women, the two of them watch two women kiss. Ester dreams of kissing Adele, and later, while she is in the arms of her husband Oscar, she imagines making love to her friend. She confesses her passion to Adele, and she tells Oscar that she loves another. Oscar's jealousy takes over: he assumes the rival is a man, and he begs Adele to help him learn the man's identity. He searches manically for the rival.
