Plot summary

An actor's own 16mm color home movies, shot between 1946 and 1969, form the spine of the documentary. Most of the reels come from the 1950s and early 1960s and record the actor's life. Other actors appear in the clips. Parts of the footage come from the sets of black and white films such as Ice-Cold in Alex and Dunkirk, and those location clips were matched to the finished scenes from those films. Commentary comes from the man himself, who was over ninety when he recorded it, and from his family and friends. The documentary was broadcast in a Christmas schedule.
