Plot summary
Oliver, Shane, Rita and Norman are post office detectives, and Christmas brings a full workload: every letter has to reach its destination, and the mail addressed to Santa has to be redirected. Oliver crosses paths with the teacher who once taught his Sunday school class. Among the late arrivals is a plea addressed not to Saint Nick but to God, and it concerns one little girl. The four put their own holiday travel plans aside to help her. Oliver and Shane, who both carry painful memories of past Christmases, are finding the season hard. Jordan, a volunteer in the office, offers guidance along the way.
