Plot summary
Claire, a young American, comes to at the end of an airport runway in Spain, blood-soaked and bruised, with no memory of the past few days. She tries to account for her condition, and her recollections come back in fragments. In them she takes part in risky activities, among them a jump into a safety net for Del, an event organizer, and orgies with acquaintances. What she can piece together leaves her suspecting she may be connected to a murder. Without money and with no clear account of herself, she makes her way through the streets of Madrid, trying to unravel the mystery of her past.
