Plot summary
An Italian anthology of five unrelated sketches about sexual manners. Barbara, an Italian wife in Switzerland whose executive husband travels on business, is visited by an eccentric countryman who offers her twenty million lire. Marina, a bored socialite, tires of how closely her bodyguard Alex keeps watch over her and slips away to meet a visiting artist. Esmeralda, a countess, meets Filippo, her chauffeur, in what appears to be a tryst. Emilia Chiapponi, the wife of a lawyer, draws the stares of nearly every man in her neighborhood, while a man telephones her to describe the dreams she has stirred in him; she asks that they meet. Adriano Serpetti, who suffers from vertigo, considers renting an apartment and finds Marcella Fosne on the ledge outside the neighboring unit; he talks her into coming inside.
