More Than a Miracle (1967) on Netflix

Plot summary

Rodrigo, a Spanish prince, would rather tame a wild horse than obey his parents and choose a bride; seven Italian princesses wait at the palace to dine with him, and he rides off instead. Thrown in the countryside, he loses the horse and meets a monk who tells him the time has come to find a wife, handing him a donkey and flour and instructions to ask for seven dumplings. He finds the horse with Isabella, a peasant pulling vegetables, and both claim the animal. When the king's guards pass, he drags her into hiding and tries to kiss her; she shoves him away, certain a thief would hide, and carries her crops home with him following.
