Plot summary
A diagnosis of retinitis pigmentosa ended Sophie Scott's Olympic downhill skiing career, and she turned down her friend Cam's offer to serve as her seeing guide for the Paralympics. She earns money looking after other people's cats in their homes, and takes bottles of costly wine to resell with Cam's help. Debra, a rich woman who has just divorced, hires her for a house in upstate New York, and Sophie locks herself out. The See for Me app puts blind users in touch with sighted volunteers, and it connects her to Kelly, a gamer in Florida, who guides her back inside. That night three men break in, after $7 million hidden in a wall safe, and the police will be slow to reach the remote house.
