Plot summary
During the war in Afghanistan, Jake Atherton's platoon is ambushed; he and his commanding officer, Tom Mason, are the only ones left. Back home, Jake fixes cars in an auto shop owned by Earl, a former gang member. Men arrive to collect a debt Earl owes, and after Jake drives them off, they kill his family in return. Jake goes to the nightclub where they gather and shoots them all. Mason then takes him out of prison so that Sam Ramsey can bring him into Section 8, a group that removes threats around the world.
