Tom McCamus

Tom McCamus is a Canadian actor known for film, television, and theater. Born in Winnipeg and raised in London, Ontario, he discovered acting in a high school drama class and studied dramatic art at the University of Windsor. He later performed at the Shaw and Stratford festivals, winning a Dora Award in 1994 for best leading actor in Abundance. His film debut came in A Switch in Time (1989), and he won a Genie Award for I Love a Man in Uniform (1993). He received further Genie nominations for Long Day's Journey into Night (1996) and The Sweet Hereafter (1997), and appeared in Room (2015) and Shake Hands with the Devil (2007). On television he played Mason Eckhart on Mutant X and won ACTRA and Gemini awards for Waking Up Walter: The Walter Gretzky Story.
