Tim Potter

Tim Potter is an English actor who has worked in film, television and theater since the 1980s. Born in Nottingham, he built a stage career that included playing Salvador Dali in the original Royal Court production of Terry Johnson's Hysteria in 1993 and Charles II in Stephen Jeffreys' The Libertine a year later, and he appeared in plays by writers such as Edward Bond, Oscar Wilde, Tennessee Williams and Shakespeare. He was a founder member of Acme Acting, a company that staged plays inside domestic homes, with audiences following the actors from room to room. On screen he played Captain Hook in Finding Neverland (2004), the Ghost of Christmas Future in A Christmas Carol (1999) opposite Patrick Stewart, and Chief Gentleman in The Prince and the Pauper (2000), with further roles in Entrapment (1999), Faintheart (2008), Still Life (2013) and The Young Poisoner's Handbook (1995).
